Die Abh\u00e4ngigkeit Europas von Asien bei Produktion und Lagerung von Arzneimitteln und Medizinprodukten muss reduziert werden. Anl\u00e4sslich der heutigen Konferenz der EU-Gesundheitsminister zum Thema Arzneimittelversorgung wiederholt die Apothekerkammer ihre Forderung nach Anreizen und Strategien f\u00fcr die Medikamentenproduktion und -lagerung in Europa.<\/p>\n
\u201eLieferengp\u00e4sse bei Arzneimitteln sind in \u00d6sterreich kein neues Ph\u00e4nomen. W\u00e4hrend der Coronakrise hat sich die Lage aber versch\u00e4rft, weil die wichtigsten Hersteller von China und Indien aus agieren. Die Pandemie f\u00fchrt uns die Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von diesen asiatischen Produktionsl\u00e4ndern schonungslos vor Augen und offenbart unsere Verwundbarkeit. Es m\u00fcssen in Zukunft mehr Medikamente innerhalb der EU produziert und auch gelagert werden\u201c, verlangt Mag. pharm. Dr. Ulrike Mursch-Edlmayr, Pr\u00e4sidentin der \u00d6sterreichischen Apothekerkammer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Lieferengp\u00e4sse auf der EU-Agenda<\/h3>\n
Mursch-Edlmayr begr\u00fc\u00dft die heute von Deutschlands Gesundheitsminister Jens Spahn \u00f6ffentlich bekanntgegebene Entscheidung, das Thema Medikamentenlieferengp\u00e4sse zu einem Schwerpunkt der deutschen Ratspr\u00e4sidentschaft im zweiten Halbjahr zu machen. \u201eIch freue mich \u00fcber diese Initiative und erwarte von Seiten der EU konkrete Schritte zur Eind\u00e4mmung der Lieferengp\u00e4sse bei Arzneimitteln in Europa.\u201c
\nDas herrschende Verst\u00e4ndnis von Globalisierung, das der immer h\u00e4ufiger werdenden Auslagerung von Produktionen nach \u00dcbersee zugrunde liege, sei ernsthaft zu hinterfragen, so die Apothekerkammer-Pr\u00e4sidentin weiter: \u201eGlobalisierung ist prinzipiell w\u00fcnschenswert, sie muss aber von der Politik gelenkt werden.\u201c<\/p>\n
Lieferengp\u00e4sse f\u00fcr Apothekerschaft Alltag<\/h3>\n
Schon jetzt verbringen Apothekerinnen und Apotheker durchschnittlich zwei Stunden ihrer t\u00e4glichen Arbeitszeit damit, vor Ort nicht erh\u00e4ltliche Arzneimittel f\u00fcr Patientinnen und Patienten zu beschaffen oder das Problem anderw\u00e4rtig, etwa durch Ausweichen auf ein wirkstoff\u00e4hnliches Produkt, zu l\u00f6sen. \u201eIn mindestens 95 Prozent der F\u00e4lle gelingt uns dies, aber Corona wird das Problem vergr\u00f6\u00dfern. Die Gratwanderung zwischen Lieferengpass und Versorgungsengpass wird immer steiniger. Eine Versch\u00e4rfung der Situation sollte Politik und Beh\u00f6rden ab sofort dazu veranlassen, einen Teil der Pharmaindustrie auf unseren Kontinent zur\u00fcckzuholen\u201c, so der dringende Appell der Apothekerkammer-Pr\u00e4sidentin.<\/p>\n
